Responsibilities:

Act as the UK Money Laundering Reporting Officer for our client's organisation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
Develop and implement an effective anti-money laundering framework, policies, and procedures.
Conduct regular risk assessments and monitor transaction activity to identify potential money laundering activities.
Investigate and report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide guidance on compliance-related matters.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practises to ensure our client's organisation remains at the forefront of compliance.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the banking industry. Ideally have been and MLRO in a Bank.
In-depth knowledge of UK money laundering regulations and legislation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
High level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Relevant professional qualifications, such as the International Compliance Association (ICA) Diploma in Anti Money Laundering, would be advantageous.
