Job Purpose

Our Tyre Technicians play an integral role in keeping our customers moving. Bridgestone are now seeking enthusiastic, determined individuals with unquestionable hunger to learn to join our team of Tyre Technicians. Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Supervisor the Tyre Technician is responsible for regularly inspecting our customer fleets and identifying, prioritising and rectifying issues in a timely manner. You will cover a geographic region of Scotland (relief role).

Working hours are 37.5 hours (permanent) per week and this does not include weekends as we know how much you value your weekends! Technicians have the opportunity to choose their hours of work to suit them and the customer best.

What we need from you

Essential

  • A Full UK driving license
  • Punctual and reliable
  • A 'can do’ attitude with a passion to learn

Desirable

  • An enthusiastic attitude and reliability
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience of working to tight timescales and targets
  • Previous commercial tyre fitting experience
  • Tyre fitting experience preferred, but not essential - full training will be provided
  • The ability to use IT equipment (including laptop, tablet and mobile phone)
  • The ability to prioritise a daily workload
