Your new company
An excellent school in Southport are working with Hays Education in order to find a tutor to start ASAP. They are a one form entry school and were rated 'Good' on their most recent OFSTED report.

Your new role
Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualised tuition to Looked After Children (LAC) who require additional support in their studies.

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with LAC students.
• Assess students' learning needs and tailor your teaching approach accordingly.
• Create engaging lesson plans and learning materials.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and parents to track progress and address specific learning goals.
• Empower LAC students to build confidence, improve academic skills, and achieve their full potential

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you must:

• Must have Qualifed Teacher Status in the UK
• Ideally have passed your ECT/NQT Induction
• Must be strong in English and Maths
• Must be an empathetic and patient teacher
• Must be able to connect with LAC student and adapt teaching methods to their unique needs.
