Attention all education professionals!

Prospero Teaching is currently looking for talented and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to join our team and support children in across the BCP.

As a Mentor/Tutor, you'll be responsible for offering a range of support to students, from a few hours to multiple sessions per week. You'll also be required to complete weekly feedback forms, tracking the student's progress, achievements, and overall development.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole
  • Position - Tutor/Mentor
  • Subject - Functional skills / life skills
  • Start date - September 2023
  • Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
  • End date (if applicable) -
  • Full time/part-time - Part-time
  • The minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £20 per hour
  • Hours - flexible

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS (desirable however not essential)

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
  • Have a minimum of 1 years experience working in an educational setting
