Then my client has a fantastic opportunity for you.

They are a specialist team of Tax Consultants and Chartered Accountants, who due to expansion and the continuing success of winning exciting, new clients are currently seeking a Trusts and Estates Senior or Manager to join their
growing team.  

You will be managing a portfolio of trusts and tax compliance clients as well as providing ad hoc planning and advisory support to the Directors. 

Responsibilities will include:
The compliance will include preparation of trust accounts, preparation of trust self-assessment tax returns and R185s,preparation of IHT returns, preparation of estate tax returns, and preparation of personal tax returns.  Ad hoc planning and advisory work will be diverse, interesting, and challenging.
  • Preparation of Trust accounts
  • Preparation of Trust self-assessment tax returns and R185s
  • Preparation of IHT returns
  • Estate Tax returns
  • Personal Tax returns
  • Ad hoc planning and advisory work which will be diverse and technically challenging
To be considered for the position, applicants will likely be a fully qualified (CTA/ACA or equivalent). You may have experience of working with Private Clients, Trusts and Estates or you may come from a more general practice background but with a desire to focus more on Tax.

What is also important is that you can demonstrate a desire to learn and excellent communication skills as you will often be explaining complex areas of Tax to clients and will need to be able to communicate clearly and without the use of jargon.
