Company Overview

You will be joining a very prestigious and highly regarded London Law Firm as their Trust Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a close-knit and high-performing team within Trust and Tax, this role will report directly into the Head of Trusts and Tax. You will be supported by a much larger wider finance team of over 40 who will be there to support you from day one. Based in their modern City of London office 3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining 2 days, in line with the firms hybrid working model.

Role Responsibilities

In your new role, you will be responsible for posting transactional information up to trial balance level, generating draft trust accounts, supporting with cashflow forecasts, calculating taxable income/capital gains, assisting with the trust accounting function, performing client due diligence and maintaining client due diligence information for trustees.

Role Requirements

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have a background in Trust Accounting and/or Trust Bookkeeping, or you will have mainstream Accounting/Bookkeeping experience in a different environment but have a willingness to learn/specialise in Trust Accounting moving forward. You will have previously used an Accounting software such as CCH or Troika, be a proactive, enthusiastic and committed individual with a collaborative approach, and possess strong communication skills (both oral and written). You will take full ownership of your own workload, possess a hands-on approach and an outstanding work ethic. You will be a dedicated, driven and engaging individual who can work well independently and as part of a wider team.
