Treasury Manager

I am currently working with an SME property firm who are seeking an Treasury Manager with demonstrable experience across banking, cash and debt management, financing to join their small centralised treasury function.

Reporting into the Head of Treasury, the hire will assume a number two role in the treasury function, with responsibility for one report who is at Assistant level. Due to the nature of the business, the role is predominantly operationally focused and doesn't involve hedging or dealing, however due to the growth and dynamism of the business will involve some exciting work on the financing and debt management side of things.

Overview of Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage group liquidity to meet financial obligations across 150 entities.
• Collaborate with divisional finance teams to optimise cash management strategies and enhance controls.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly cash flow updates.
• Review monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate posting of transactions.
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements for group financings.
• Oversee accurate reporting of debt-related information.
• Manage group payments system and resolve any errors.
• Support Corporate Finance in wider financing efforts.
• Account for valuation changes in swaps and caps, and reconcile treasury balances.
• Manage banking relationships, including PCI compliance, creating new merchant IDs, and overseeing bank mandates.

To be a good fit for this role, you will:

• Showcase strong operational treasury experience in a dynamic, changing environment
• Ideally be ACT qualified, or studying towards the qualification
• Have demonstrable experience within debt management and financing
• Be a strong stakeholder manager and able to balance changing prior
