Treasury Assistant - Energy sector

We are looking for a treasury operations specialist to join our global energy company. You will have the chance to work on various aspects of a corporate treasury function, with a focus on trading different assets and managing bank relationships and accounts.

The salary range is 45K-50K + excellent benefits 

Your main duties will include:

• Managing the cash position and ensuring all payments are processed correctly
• Monitoring incoming funds from oil sales and communicating with operators and traders
• Preparing and issuing invoices and letters of credit
• Reporting the future cash position to the Treasury manager weekly
• Handling KYC and Compliance issues

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 2 years of experience in a treasury/finance department
• A background in banking, commodity or trade finance
• Accounting knowledge/qualifications
• Familiarity with Letters of Credit/Guarantees and Inventory
• Excellent communication skills
