Transport Administrator - Newport

Alfa staff are currently looking to recruit a Transport Administrator for a client in the Newport area. Transport administration experience is required as the role involves assisting in compliance for vehicles on site.

Hours of work 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinating external vehicle repairs and MOTs.

- Maintain an accurate and up to date database of vehicles.

- Ensuring all vehicle records are accurate and up to date on our internal system.

- Raising purchase orders for suppliers.

- Respond to email queries.

- MOT and tax reminders management.

- First point of contact for internal and external fleet related information requests.

- Responsible for all workshop related admin.

- Assisting workshop manager and fleet manager with administrative tasks.

Requirements:

- IT literate

- Understanding of transport industry
