Transmission Engineer - Gaydon (Site based) - Up to £30/hr LTD - Outside IR35 - 12 month initial contract

A Transmission Engineer opportunity has become available for a global automotive OEM.

Our automotive client is looking looking for someone who is an expert in manual transmissions.

To apply for this position you should have some of the following:

  • Excellent knowledge of Manual Transmissions.
  • Thorough knowledge on concept design for 6 speed MT.
  • Gear selections, shaft design, Lubrication circuits, Hydraulic circuits, clutches, and flywheels.
  • Knowledge of OEM processes, DFA, DFEMA, Calibration and testing.
  • Good PM skills, Good coordination skills, working with tier one suppliers.
  • Knowledge on V engines.
