Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE27 (onsite while onboarding for first few months then possible hybrid working)

Rate: £15.92 - £24.84 Ph PAYE - Depending on Experience

Employment Type: Contract (12 Months Contract)

Hours: Either 9am - 5pm OR 8am - 4pm - 37.5 Hours per week

Summary of job description:

The Transfer Pricing Team has key responsibilities for ensuring compliance with our client's business models, governance for inter-company reporting, and reviews and tracking of inter-company transactions.

The Transfer Pricing (TP) Accountant will be working as part of a team that covers various markets across Europe. The role will cover all areas of Transfer Pricing Analysis and reporting from preparation of TP returns, to detailed intercompany analysis for tax reporting through to monthly checks on key IC processes.

The candidates must have strong communication and customer service skills, as they will be working directly with Local Finance and Tax Managers in various locations.

Skills required for the role include:

• Knowledge of SAP and strong excel skills including Advanced Analysis.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong operational discipline to meet tight external reporting deadlines.
• Strong accounting knowledge, which they can apply to complex accounting scenarios.
• Flexible approach and agility to be able to work with multiple countries or pieces of work to meet specific reporting deadlines.

Specific skills required (E.g. Software packages, language skills, etc.):

• Strong general accounting knowledge.
• SAP knowledge.
• Strong excel skills including Analysis for Office.
• Problem Solving.

Specific Qualifications Required (E.g. forklift truck license, driving license, CIMA etc.):

• Professional accounting qualification e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CAT / AAT with relevant work experience.
