Law firm - Legal Training Manager

This is a a unique opportunity to join one of the UK's leading personal injury Law firms as a Training Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring Claims Handlers across the business have the appropriate legal skills they require to complete their roles effectively. This is achieved by developing technical legal training across the business.
Responsibilities of the Training Manager:
• Create frameworks for all legal departments within the business
• Support managers to identify development needs for the employees within their teams
• Create, maintain and amend all training documentation as and when required
• Work with business management to create and manage the annual and monthly legal training plans
• Keep up to date with developments within the legal sector
Provide feedback reports on activities or risks identified to the Head of Risk on a weekly and/or monthly basis or as required
• Monitor legal training evaluation feedback forms
Experience and Knowledge
• Significant experience in personal injury litigation
• Ideally experience in the supervision of personal injury litigation staff, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate staff
• A high awareness of other relevant areas of regulation and/or statutory legislation
• A comprehensive knowledge of the SRA Code of Conduct and the SRA Accounts Rules etc
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to be agile and adaptive
Desirables
• A recognised training qualification or a willingness to undertake progress towards any relevant qualification
• An awareness of ICOBS 8 and Treating Customers Fairly
• Strong IT/case management skills
