About You:

Are you an expert in the motor trade industry? Do you have a passion for teaching and developing the next generation of talent? If so, our client has an exciting opportunity for you!

You may have been working within Mechanics as a Workshop Controller or a Vehicle Technician or have transferable skills from a similar role. If so, this would be the perfect position for an individual who does not want the physical work anymore (get off the tools).

If you are a mechanic who doesn’t want to work in the garage anymore then you may be highly suited to this trainer position.

You may just want a change of career but would like to stay in the motor trade.

About the Role:

This role is for a full-time on-site Heavy Vehicle Technical Trainer in Doncaster.

As a Heavy Vehicle Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessments for apprentices using your industry experience to enhance their learning and development.

Additionally, you will provide coaching, training and mentorship to apprentices helping them to develop knowledge, skills, and behaviours necessary for success in the motor trade.

Key Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the motor trade industry with demonstrable expertise in Heavy Vehicle repair and maintenance.

  • A level 2/3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Training or equivalent.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to learners in an easy-to-understand manner.

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team with a commitment to providing high-quality learning experience for all apprentices.

  • A level 3 Award in Education and Training or above is desirable.

Salary:

£26k - 34k per year + Benefits

The salary advertised is a guideline for this position. The offered remuneration will be dependent on the extent of your experience, qualifications, and skill set.
