Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Trainee Will Drafter to join our team in St Leonards, Hastings to provide advice and documents to our clients. 

Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Will Drafter: 
  • To input data onto specifically designed software to produce Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and declaration of severances
  • To discuss queries with clients or consultants when required by telephone or e-mail.
  • Meeting targets set by the Legal Team Manager.
  • Producing accurate documents
  • Keeping up to date with cases and reports


Skills and Experience of a Trainee Will Drafter: 
  • Proficient IT - using Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Strong team player with the initiative to work independently when required.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and conscientious.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience of Will drafting is preferred but not essential
