The company are a growing and long-standing business, operating in the timber growing and supply sectors, with a focus on excellent customer and client relationships that undoubtedly add to their continued success. Having recently invested in a new saw and timber storage facilities, an opportunity has arisen for a new Trainee Sawyer to join the team, responsible for undertaking all training required to become a qualified and professional sawyer, operating saw machinery, assisting with log selection, responding to orders and operating forklifts and loaders as needed.

The Role:

• Undertake all training required, with 1:1 mentorship
• Operate forklifts and mechanical machinery, for bespoke orders
• Ensure a high level of quality throughout the process
• Operate saw machinery and respond to orders

The Person:

• Background in forestry / joinery / carpentry / furniture making or manufacturing desirable
