Trainee Recruitment Consultant | Stevenage | £23,000-£25,000 (up to £75,000 OTE with uncapped commission)

We're recruiting for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant for our established Hertfordshire office based in Stevenage due to significant growth in our market share this financial year. We're looking to establish new specialist areas or revenue streams within finance with an already established client base across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and North London.

Accountancy Action are an established Accountancy and Finance Recruitment Consultancy, covering London and the Home Counties. Over the last 20 years we have taken on Trainees from all walks of life including from many other sales related industries.

We invest a lot of time, effort and energy into training and developing those we hire and therefore, in order to be successful, you must be able to demonstrate high levels of ambition.

We are seeking enthusiastic, personable individuals to join our team. You may not have considered a career in recruitment before, but the ideal candidates will have direct B2B/B2C sales experience in a target driven environment, with excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills. Excellent communication skills and great energy and pace are essential.

This is an Associate/ Trainee Recruitment Consultant position, where you will receive a structured induction process and full training, along with on-going support. You will begin by sourcing candidates, researching, generating leads, contacting candidates and clients, writing adverts and shadowing senior members of the team. You will go on client meetings and learn the entire 360 recruitment process from start to finish. Once you have "learnt the ropes" you will be given your own desk and you will work on generating clients and building your own recruitment desk, as well as developing current business.

You'll be paid £23,000-£25,000 per annum plus uncapped commission (realistically an additional £18,000-£60,000 per annum depending on billings) with 23 days annual leave (rising to 28), work 9:00-17:30 and work a hybrid working model post training period (3 days in depending on fee performance) as well as quarterly overseas trips and monthly incentive events.
