Trainee M&A Broker (Dutch and German Market)

We are looking for a trainee to build a career in Mergers and Acquisitions. We are a boutique corporate finance brokerage based in the City (Leadenhall Street - opposite Lloyds of London). We work with a range of private equity houses and large wealth management companies to identify, approach and broker the sale of businesses in the financial services sector, this includes insurance and accountancy sectors as well as the Wealth Management sector.

Prospects are superb. Basic salary is competitive and there is a bonus structure in place that provides a significant uplift in earnings based on success. We also pay for your professional exams and encourage you to pursue a qualification in our sector. Basically - the medium to long term earning potential with us far outweighs anything else I've seen advertised. We're ultimately looking future partners - not employees.

Environment wise, take a look on our website. We’re a small team of focused individuals (so selective) that take the job seriously but themselves lightly. We regularly do corporate days and nights out (Royal Ascot for example), and for our last Christmas dinner the company flew out for a weekend in New York.

We are looking for trainees, with excellent communication skills who can converse in German (preferably fluent). Very strong spreadsheet skills. An ability to pick up a process and how to use our internal CRM system quickly. You can’t be phone shy - and you need to be ambitious with a solid work ethic. You’ll be turning your hand to everything and you’ll get broad training across the industry.
