Trainee Lightning Protection Engineer

Location: North London

Salary: £28 000 - £30, 000 - DOE

Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

Benefits: 22 Holidays + Bank Holidays

We have accredited designers, trained and qualified engineers and a reputation for service.

Job description

We are looking to hire enthusiastic and motivated persons to join our exciting, business. We are currently looking for Trainee Lightning Protection Engineers for a permanent, full-time position.

Working towards an NVQ2 in Lightning Protection Installation. You will need to be comfortable and confident working at height and complying to health and safety regulations. You will receive training in abrasive wheels, working on MEWPS and cherry pickers, and usage of Meggars and CAT scanners.

You must have a full UK driving licence to apply otherwise your application will not be counted. A CSCS Working at Heights card will be required. Once qualified you will receive a company van and fuel card.

This position is suitable for anyone who has some experience as a Telecoms Engineer, Electrician, Fire & Security Engineer, Construction Labourers.

Extra Information

Starting salaries for Trainees are around £30,000 a year.

Experienced lightning Protection Engineers earn between £35,000 - £40,000 a year.

Senior Engineers earn between £40,000 - £57,000 a year.
