Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a well-established & growing business based in the Wakefield area as they look to recruit a Trainee Legal Cashier to join their growing finance team!

Duties & Responsibilities of the Trainee Legal Cashier will include:

  • Checking bank statements and posting onto ledgers
  • Posting monies in and out on client ledgers
  • Processing Bacs & Chaps payments
  • Balancing completion statements and dealing with completions
  • Processing invoices
  • Aged Balances
  • Dealing with queries from other departments in the business

To be successful you MUST have the following attributes:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Strong desire to progress within Legal Cashier role
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • General understanding of accountancy and finance
  • Legal office experience (Preferred, not essential)

This is a permanent position, working on a hybrid basis (Tue & Wed WFH), with a salary of £22k - £24k depending on experience.
