Job Title - Trainee Insurance Advisor

Salary - £19k - £22k in your first year, with excellent progression!

Location - Maidenhead

We’re working with a successful mortgage and protection company in Maidenhead, voted Firm of the Year, who are looking for a Trainee Insurance Advisor to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for recent graduates or those who have completed their A-Levels and are looking for a great opportunity to start your career in financial services!

The company have won awards for their academy scheme - you will be provided with full training and support to progress within the growing team, where they will progress you into a Protection Advisor (higher salary + great rates of commission once qualified!)

Some Duties for the Trainee Insurance Advisor;

  • Completing administration of personal protection applications from start to finish
  • Conducting fact finds
  • Booking appointments in with the advisors
  • Reaching out to existing clients to generate new business
  • Taking daily direction and guidance from the Protection Advisors

Skills required for the Trainee Insurance Advisor;

  • Educated to undergraduate degree or A-Level
  • Great verbal and written communication
  • Confident and polite telephone manner - much of the role will involve speaking to clients
  • Empathy - you'll deal with sensitive medical information so you'll need to have a high level of patience and understanding
