Overview: Trainee Gas & Plumbing Trainer

Are you Time Served Gas Engineer who is looking for a career change? We are looking to speak with Oftec qualified and ACS accredited Gas Engineers who wish to make the move into Training. All qualifications and training will be provided by the employer.

You will be delivering Gas Level 3 apprenticeship qualifications for a well-established training provider, providing high quality Gas training to apprentice learners, along with the occasional commercial training delivery also.

Based in Plymouth, Monday to Friday, which includes 4 days teaching and 1 day preparation.

The role of a Trainee Gas & Plumbing Trainer:

  • To deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of Level 3 Gas apprenticeship qualification delivered at a high-tech training facility (classroom-based delivery). Train learners towards agreed qualifications in line with relevant awarding body standards.

Essential Experience: Trainee Gas & Plumbing Trainer

  • Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience as a time served Gas Engineer
  • Oftec qualified and hold a current ACS accreditation
  • Good communication and presentation skills

Salary/Benefits: Trainee Gas & Plumbing Trainer

  • £33k-£35k starting salary (Higher salary for qualified assessors)
  • Further development, training and qualifications fully funded and provided
  • 37.5 hour working week
  • Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm (30 mins lunch)
  • 34 days annual leave (including BHs)
