Starting Salary: £22,000

Our Trainee Fire Extinguisher Engineers

As a trainee, you'll have the opportunity to develop essential skills in fire extinguisher maintenance, inspection, and testing. This knowledge is valuable and transferable to various roles within the fire safety industry.

  • During your first 6 months, you will receive industry leading training delivered by our team at Marlowe, which will combine classroom and on the job training at a selection of our prestigious client sites whilst being closely mentored by an appointed Engineer.
  • You will be enrolled onto an industry specific course with a view to becoming BS5306 qualified.
  • Within 6-12 months you will achieve BAFE Accreditation (British Approvals for Fire Excellence).
  • The fire safety industry is constantly evolving, with new technologies and regulations, this offers opportunities for continued learning and professional development.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For

These are Trainee roles within the business; therefore, we are not looking for candidates who are already experienced in these disciplines. We can provide the training you need to start your career in the Fire & Security Industry. In addition to having all the usual attributes of a great Marlowe Fire & Security employee, such as; a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, well presented and professional at all times, ability to work alone and as part of a team..... For this opportunity, we are specifically looking for candidates who offer:

  • A Mechanical qualification or similar would be an advantage, but not mandatory
  • Field based Mechanical or Fire work would also be an advantage, but again, not mandatory
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a growing organisation
  • Great attention to detail
  • Astute and assertive at all times
  • Full, Manual UK Drivers Licence
