A superb training point for an accounting professional part way through their AAT studies with some recent experience in finance looking for a role to develop their skills.
The company are a friendly, professional, outgoing organisation with the routine elements of the role whilst capabilities of developing skill set further and supporting the wider finance function.
Description
Duties and tasks of the Trainee Finance Clerk:
- Providing administrative assistance to the finance team
- Process purchase invoices
- Raise sales invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for invoice payment resolution
- Managing timesheets for payroll and amending working hours and overtime rates
- Evaluating stock, update pricing and produce reports
Profile
The successful Trainee Finance Clerk will have:
- Some recent experience in a finance role eg; purchase ledger, sales ledger
- Previous use of an accounting system in a professional environment
- Competent user of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
