Trainee Estimator

This is trainee estimator / graduate trainee role for a leading international manufacturing of construction building materials. A trainee position with all training provided.

Package: £25k basic +10% bonus, company pension and 24 days holiday

Location: Commutable distance to my clients Sutton Coldfield office - 9-5 Monday to Friday

The Role - Trainee Estimator / Graduate Trainee

• A trainee estimating role, working out of my clients UK head office
• After a thorough induction and training programme, you will be…
• Working through construction drawings, and on specialist estimating software
• Working alongside the field sales and technical support teams
• Calculating material quantities and take-offs, to provide estimates
• You will also help provide technical advice to customers over the phone

The Successful Applicant:

• This is trainee role and my client is looking for someone that can quickly absorb information and has a willingness to learn
• It would be great if you were a graduate with a construction related degree, although this is not essential
• You must though have strong communication skills and be looking to carve out a career in the construction industry
