Description

The Trainee Accounts Payable Assistant role is initially a 6 month contract and will be based 3 days per week in Macclesfield office (Hybrid working). Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager Key duties will include:

  • Ensure all centrally processed supplier invoices are recorded in the accounting system correctly and processed on a timely basis
  • Ensure the supplier invoices processed are reconciled to the supplier statement on a
  • monthly basis providing analysis/escalation where applicable
  • Support the payments to suppliers in line with contractually agreed payment terms,
  • once invoices have been approved and processed
  • Assist in ad hoc tasks as required by the business

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

  • Have some previous accounts experience or be an AAT Studier/Accounts or Finance Graduate
  • Have experience of using Excel
  • Be available to consider a 6 month contract initially
  • Be able to commute to Macclesfield office
