LGS Vision Recruitment are currently working alongside a forward thinking and progressive accountancy practice on an exclusive basis as they search to recruit a Trainee Accountant for their practice suited on the outskirts of Cambridge.

The position would best suit an upcoming or recent school/college leaver, graduate or someone who’s seeking a career change.

The successful candidate will gain a wide range of exposure to a variety of accounting processes.

You will be a highly numerate professional and keen to gain experience working in a firm of accountants, but additionally, will have an excellent learning mentality and enjoy what is a professional yet friendly working environment. The client offers fanatic career progression.

Experience you will gain:

  • Preparing accounts and producing sets of financial statements
  • Working on audit and accounts preparation assignments
  • Working on personal and business taxation
  • Working within the outsourcing department and gaining VAT and Bookkeeping knowledge
  • Working on payroll

The ideal suitable candidate:

  • Keen to work within an accountancy practice
  • Team player who enjoys interacting with other people
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised

What’s on offer:

  • Starting salary between £19,500 - £25,000
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays
