Our client is an established, successful multi-site firm of Chartered Accountants. Due to expansion, they are now looking to acquire the services of hard-working Trainee Accountants, who are looking to start their Accountancy career.

This is a fantastic opportunity, enabling a successful candidate to be trained within a Platinum training organisation, so would suit an individual who is a self-starter, passionate and resilient. Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to senior colleagues by producing accounts work without the need for basic amendments, and to agreed timescales.
  • Proactively develop technical knowledge through a combination of workplace learning and formal study.
  • Apply knowledge gained from each assignment across the entire client portfolio worked on.
  • Use self-review and analytical review techniques to identify fundamental errors.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Degree educated, ideally in a STEM (science/technology/engineering/maths) or similar subjects, and looking to start an accountancy career.
  • Hard-working and committed to supporting the company and their clients.
  • Using initiative to resolve problems, producing high quality work.
  • A positive team player who likes a challenge.
  • Enthusiasm, willingness to learn with an aptitude for analytical skills.
  • Effective and clear communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
  • This is a full time, permanent role, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (37.5hrs).
  • 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (and additional company and volunteering days), increasing to 25 days upon qualification.
  • Agile working policy, allowing 50:50 split between WFH and office following probation.
  • Training package and on-the-job training plus paid time off for study as well as fully paid course and exam fees!
