Trainee Accountant, Alton, £20K-£28K, Study Support

Your new company
- This firm is an established accountancy firm based in Alton who are actively looking for their next recruit. They have recently brought in new staff and are looking to build on their key trainee team. Their client list is predominately based within the surrounding areas across Hampshire and Surrey, and they have interests and memberships in common with many of our clients.
- They believe that talking to your accountant should be a pain-free experience and pride themselves on getting to know their clients so that they can advise them from a position of privileged knowledge.
Your new role
- Completion of year-end accounts for sole-trade and limited company businesses, including the preparation of relevant tax computations.
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Using cloud-based accounting packages.
- Other ad hoc tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
- 1+ years practice experience
- Passion for accountancy and working with intelligent individuals
- Locality in Alton is happy to attend office 5 days per week.
