Trade Support - Asset Management

The Trade Support team supports the London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo trading desks and is primarily responsible for the confirmation and settlement of transactions alongside various onboarding and data management activities. YOUR ROLE

• As part our Control Framework, understand and complete the daily tasks from STP confirmation of transactions to exception management by using Charles River Development OMS and our confirmation platforms (CTM, Traiana and TRAX)
• Proactively escalate issues to the multiple Trading desks we support across Europe and Asia with a continuous aim of investigating cause of break and eliminating re-occurrence
• Ensure accurate allocation of trades at Swap Providers, PBs and
• Clearers including the timely instruction of trade information to Fund Administrators and Custodians
• Effectively capture, investigate and resolve any failed trades by liaising with Custodians and Brokers
• Contribute to the development of effective risk mitigation strategies by identifying and escalating potential risks and issues related to settlement processes
• Evolve our processes to increase automation / STP and reduce risk as well as proactively questioning and enhancing the way functions within the team are conducted
• Learn and execute various onboarding and data management checks including Account and Broker Onboarding, Settlement Instructions, Commission & Fee default management

YOUR PROFILE

• At least 3 years' experience within a Trade Support / Middle Office role within an Asset Management firm
• Expert knowledge of Securities (Equity and Fixed Income products) and CFDs across global markets from a confirmation and settlement perspective
• Understanding of market specificities in relation to settlements with a detailed knowledge of various settlement locations
• Knowledge of Repo and Reverse Repo Transactions including increase/decreases and pair offs is highly beneficial
• Experience using Charles River (CRD), Simcorp, DTCC CTM, DTCC
• Alert and TRAX is advantageous
• Competent user of Microsoft Excel. VBA & macro skills advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Able to thrive both autonomously and as part of team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proactive and confident to challenge existing processes, you will take ownership of resolutions and improvements
