Our client a prestigious banking organisation are currently seeking a Trade Finance Officer. This role is located in Central London.

As a Trade Finance Officer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless completion of documentary credit processes. You will oversee various tasks related to Letters of credit, amendments, payments, and document handling while upholding agreed Service Level Agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of amendments to Letters of Credit.
  • Facilitate Letters of Credit payments/acceptances and manage document disposal.
  • Stay informed about industry standards and complete mandatory training.
  • Manage advising of new Letters of Credit, seeking approvals, and ensuring Service Level Agreements compliance.
  • Provide timely responses to payment-related queries.
  • Follow prescribed business continuity requirements.
  • Assist in processing Import Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and adhere to Risk and Compliance policies.
  • Conduct meticulous document checks under Letters of Credit, addressing discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • School/college leaver as a minimum.
  • With 1- 5 years of previous experience in Trade Finance.
  • IT literate
