Job Title: Trade Sales Engineer - LED Lighting

Industry Sector: LED Lighting, Electrical Wholesale, Electrical Contractors and Electricians, Downlights, Battens, Floodlights, Emergency Lighting, Light Energu Surveys, Luminaire Stock

Area to be covered: South West of RG and BH

Remuneration: £40,000-£45,000 Neg. + up to £5,000 Year One

The role of the Trade Account Manager - LED Lighting will involve:

• Field sales position selling a manufactured and distributed range of LED lighting including; downlights, versatile battens, floodlights, emergency lighting, luminaire stock and light energy surveys
• 95% Account management role
• Account managing circa 48 CEF electrical wholesale branches across 6 groups on this area
• £4.5m+ revenue responsibility
• Typically visiting each branch once per month
• Account developing branches from £20,000 to £750,0000 turnover
• Increasing stock share in branch network
• Small amount of time will be spent with electrical contractors, these relationships are managed by a Project Sales Engineer whom you will work closely with
• Provide training and support to electrical wholesale team
• Trade mornings
• Merchandise and develop trade counter presence across electrical wholesale network

The ideal applicant will be a Trade Account Manager - LED Lighting with:

• Proven account management/ relationship building skills
• Must have sold into the electrical wholesale market
• Ideally sold electrical or similar products, lighting preferred but not essential
• Open to someone working for an electrical wholesaler looking for 1st field sales role
• Comfortable with "milk round" type field sales opportunity
• Structured, determined and organised
• Bubbly character would be ideal
• Familiar with CRM, Microsoft 365 software
• Full driving licence
