Tours Manager - Independent Schools


Location: Brighton
Timetable: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000 base salary, plus bonus
Start Date: ASAP, dependant on notice period


Our client, a specialist in providing bespoke language immersion and educational school trips, is looking for a Tours Manager to join their team, to continue their expansion.


This is an individual that will manage and oversee all the tour coordinators in their team. They will need to be assertive, be able to think on their feet and help out with arising questions about the specifics of bookings while also having their own bookings to co-ordinate.


Our client provides exclusive international experiences to schools that allow the pupils to immerse themselves in the culture and language of the country they are travelling to. They provide this via specialist venues abroad which allow children to practise their language skills through a variety of activities.


The role will be primarily office based with some flexibility to work from home outside of peak business times. There are also reduced working hours in the summer school holidays.


The relevant candidate does not need to have experience in this type of role however experience in the travel/school travel industry is essential.


The successful applicant will have the following characteristics:

  • Experience in the school travel sector is essential
  • Fluency in French/Spanish/German is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • Attention to detail is essential
