Are you a fully ACA qualified Audit Manager or Audit & Accounts Manager looking for more audit in your next role, looking to upgrade to a very good quality, traditional and friendly medium size London based accountancy firm and carry out a varied role consisting of mainly audit & assurance assignments but also various advisory based projects? Are you keen to work in a very good quality firm with excellent development opportunities and future progression on offer? In this newly created role due to the firm winning lots of new audit work from larger firms, your role will be split around 90% audit & assurance and 10% ad hoc advisory projects. Based in the Audit & Assurance department of a growing Top 80 firm with over 70 staff, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients (GRF £500k to £800k depending on your experience), managing workflow, liaising with clients, reporting to Partners, and reviewing audit assignments to completion and sign off stage. You will deal with client queries, technical research, HMRC queries and also be responsible for supervising junior staff and reviewing their work. Your role will be varied, challenging and hugely enjoyable with great future progression prospects on offer. In this new role, you will gain exposure to a wide range of UK and international clients, including groups, from sectors including media, property, legal, financial services, technology, renewable energy, retail and other interesting sectors. The firm would look at a good quality candidate operating at either Supervisor / Assistant Manager or Manager level. This firm has had great success with people who have trained outside of London and want to relocate to a London firm for the exposure and opportunities on offer. The firm offers hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

To be considered for this new role (March 2024) you must have at least five years experience working in a good quality accountancy firm and be fully ACA qualified with a few years post qualification experience, OR you might be from a larger firm background and looking to join a smaller firm where you can carry out a mixed role and achieve a better work life balance including hybrid working. You must have experience of leading audit assignments from planning to completion, reviewing work, managing a portfolio of clients, managing workflow, and working in an advisory capacity to clients. You must be professional, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace. The firm welcomes applications from candidates looking to relocate to London from another UK based practice firm.

This growing accountancy firm has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of high profile and growing London based clients as well as international clients. The firm is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins from larger accountancy firms. This is a unique opportunity for an ACA qualified Audit Manager (or an Audit Assistant Manager / Supervisor looking to step up) to join an entrepreneurial yet traditional practice and play a role of great importance to the continued growth of the firm. It is also a great opportunity to develop your managerial skills and progress in the future.
