Toolmaker required to join a well-established manufacturing company based in the Leeds area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of existing press tools and using a range of machines including Lathes, Surface grinders, Milling machines and CNC lathes. The successful candidate will come from a toolmaker background and have some CNC Lathe/ wire EDM experience.

Toolmaker Position Overview

* Bench fitting / Manual Machining, and CNC machining.
* Set and operate a range of machines.
* Making tools from scratch as well as repairing and servicing tools.
* Support other colleagues and provide guidance where needed.
* Complete tool reports.
* Comply with company standards.
* Control tool modifications.
* Preventative maintenance, modifications and day to day servicing and repairs of production tooling
* Fabrication of fixtures and spare parts for tooling
* Methodically dismantling and assembling Press tools

Toolmaker Position Requirements

* Experience within a Toolmaker role or similar role.
* Experience with CNC Lathes desirable.
* Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings.
* Good Communication and interpersonal skills
* Live within a commutable distance to Leeds (LS10 postcode)

Toolmaker Position Remuneration

* Full time - Permanent
* Day/afternoon shift - 06:00-14:30/14:00-10:30 - 40 hours/week
* Salary: £27,000 - £30,000
* 25 days holiday
* Pension
