Job Title: Tire Fitter/Technician -HGV
Area: Wolverhampton
Pay: £15.00 p/h (depending on experience)
Temp to Perm
Working Patterns:
Monday to Friday  

We are looking for a Tire Technician/Fitter to join our customer team to provide hands-on experience with all sorts of tires, large truck sizes right down through to light truck and car sizes. 

Responsibilities of a Tire Fitter/Technician
  • Inspect tires on HGV before and after installation.
  • Perform tire rotations, balancing and other maintenance tasks.
  • Follow all safety protocols while working in the shop.
  • Repairing punctures.
  • Changing filters, lubricating parts, and performing other basic road safety checks.
  • Carrying out wheel alignment and tracking adjustments. This involves making sure the tires are fitted at exactly the correct angle, down to the nearest hundredth of a millimetre.
  • Performing basic data inputting, possibly on a tablet, or other hand-held device, computer.
Requirements and skills for a Tire Fitter/Technician
  • Proven work experience as a Tire Fitter/ Technician for HGV
  • Some professional experience removing and installing tires preferred.
  • Team player.
  • Attention to detail to install tires properly.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
