Salary: £25,535 - £30,741 per annum, depending on skills and experience

Location: Up to 50% Homebased (UK), the remaining being based in Loughborough, United Kingdom

Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a new Timetable and Assessment Officer (internally known as Curriculum Information Officer - Timetable and Assessment) to join our ONCAMPUS teams on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role will be up to 50% Homebased (U.K) with the remaining based in our ONCAMPUS Loughborough centre (Loughborough, U.K).

The Timetable and Assessment Officer works with the centre management, academic and admin teams supporting our students timetable and assessment journey. They are responsible for timely and accurate timetabling and assessment administration and ensuring the academic calendar is developed, maintained and communicated. This is a key role requiring, strong administrative and IT skills and attention to detail as well as the ability to manage time and multiple projects. The post holder must work to strict deadlines and follow stringent protocols to ensure compliance with a variety of internal and external regulations, working closely with those who also share responsibility for quality and assessment including central teams and the partner university.

Key responsibilities within this role include:

Assessment

  • Accurate administration and implementation of all aspects of the examinations and testing processes in accordance with the University partner and ONCAMPUS Assessment Regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and organised records relating to all types of assessments and results.
  • Ensure that any examination accommodation is suitable, and examinations are fully invigilated.
  • Distribute results in the form of spreadsheets, statement of results and final certificates and coordinate dissemination to all required stakeholders.

Timetabling

Curriculum management and timetabling

  • Lead on aspects of curriculum management including all timetabling, and communication to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure timetables for all relevant start dates are produced in a timely manner and maintained on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure timetables are efficient and in line with all parameters set by centre management including but not limited to; staff and room utilisation, compliance for hours of delivery and class sizes.

  • Working in an administrative position (Essential)
  • Working in an educational environment
  • Assessment experience would be an advantage
  • Working with databases

Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills (Essential)
  • Strong problem-solving skills (Essential)
  • Strong database and MS Office skills in particular Microsoft Excel (Essential)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Essential)
  • Experience with working in a Cloud-based environment is desirable
  • Ability to analyse and report on data
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively to achieve targets
