TIG Welder
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a TIG welder / fabricator to join an exciting new division within a long-established company based on the outskirts of Basingstoke. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Welder / Fabricator Responsibilities
  • Meeting all HSE policies set and wearing suitable PPE
  • Ensuring that production schedules are met.
  • Trouble shoot and problem solve issues within manufacturing processes
  • Designing and creating welding fixtures to improve efficiency
  • Implementing continuous improvement within the manufacturing processes with the aim to reduce non- conformances.
  • Validate your own and others work to ensure they meet the required specification.
  • Setting up and operating fabrication equipment

Welder / Fabricator Requirements and skills
  • Confident and esperinaced TIG Welder
  • The ability to produce hygienic welds consistently on stainless steel with various methods (TIG and MIG)
  • Be able to use both fabrication machinery and hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • The highest attention to detail
  • Good understanding of lean manufacturing
  • Experience within a similar role

Welder / Fabricator Role Details
  • Primarily working with stainless steel for hygienic conditions primarily working with stainless steel for hygienic conditions
  • 37.5 hours per week – Monday - Friday 8am-4pm
  • £30,000 to £36,000 (depending on experience)
