Job Role: TIG Welder

Location: Sheffield

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm

Salary: Salary £30,000 - £33,000 per annum dependant on experience

Metalis are working in partnership with a specialist Powder Metallurgy business in Sheffield, who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled TIG Welder on a permanent basis.

Job Duties:

  • TIG Welding
  • Completing welding of canisters and fill stems to a high (leak proof) standard
  • Coordinate with Lead welder/Production Manager with regards to upcoming projects, timescales, and project deadlines
  • Assisting Lead welder/Production Manager to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Overseeing canister fabrication, crimping, and welding after crimp
  • Checking and maintaining own equipment to ensure welding capability is always available.
  • Checking stock levels of relevant materials to ensure welding capability is always available.
  • Ensuring material is cleaned and deburred prior to welding.
  • Any reasonable task as requested by the Lead welder/Production Manager



Salary, Shifts & Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday, Regular Days
