Thermo-Fluids Engineer

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is seeking a motivated individual to join us as a Thermo-Fluids Engineer, at our client's Gaydon site. This full-time contract engineering role is based in Warwick and offers an umbrella rate of £25.96 per hour. This contract is for 5 months and will be open to renewal. Typically, you will be on site in Gaydon 2-3 times per week.

As a Thermo-Fluids Engineer, you will be a member of a dedicated team responsible for the operation of a key laboratory equipment, ensuring the thermal energy management systems of our products are fully developed and efficient, therefor maximising energy deployed predominantly for drivable range.

In your first few weeks in this Thermo-Fluids Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Take care of the facility and ensure it is maintained at full working order to ensure effective operation uptime
• Conduct critical development tests through the operation of the laboratory facility, providing data in support of and associated with engineering targets
• Be part of a team that will be pivotal in the development of product and further specification of the lab, including investment planned in the coming years

• A Level 4 / HNC or Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering
• Prior involvement with the laboratory environment
• Ability to communicate and influence at the operational level
• Good understanding of electronic system simulation
