I am looking for an enthusiastic, fun, patient and reliable Therapy Assistant/Rehabilitation Support Worker to help me engage in the activities I love and to become more independent. You will need to be calm and patient under pressure and be able to apply a consistent approach.

I’m 16 but sustained a brain injury as a baby. As a result of my injuries, I have complex behavioural, cognitive and physical needs.

I am described by the people who know me best as 'loving, happy, determined, cheeky and caring’, I’m sociable and friendly with a great sense of humour. I need a little help with personal care but in the main I would like support to help me after school so I can enjoy social and leisure activities, engage in therapy and further develop my life skills for the future. I like to be active and busy, enjoying cycling, swimming and skiing as well as gaming.

To join me as a Therapy Assistant/Rehabilitation Support Worker you will need: -

  • Ability to drive with use of a car.
  • Willing to drive client’s car.
  • Experience of working with children.

Also, Top Reasons to Apply: -

  • Above the industry average for pay
  • Mileage rate - 45p per mile
  • Work directly for our client and not an agency (unlike most agency work you will spend quality time with your client which can make a real difference)
  • Great opportunity for professional development
  • Be part of an expert multi-disciplinary team
  • Bespoke client induction and training
  • Ongoing support and supervision from the dedicated Case Manager
