Job Vacancy: The Embassy of Japan is seeking applicants for the position of Chauffeur

Terms of Employment: Full Time, Up to two years (with 3 months probation period)

Salary: 25-27K (according to qualifications and experience)

Preferred Starting Date: May 2024

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:30 - 18:00 (with 1 hour lunch break)

Main duties:

- Driving the Embassy’s official vehicles

- Maintenance of the Embassy’s vehicles to keep them in good condition

Essential skills and experience:

- UK driving licence

- Fluent in English both spoken and written

- Good communication and organisational skills

- Willingness to work overtime outside of normal working hours, on weekends and holidays

Desirable skills and experience:

- Experience as a professional driver

- Intimate knowledge of the geography of London
