Textile Operative

Hours / shift pattern -

You will be working a 3- week rotational working pattern as detailed below:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 14:00
• Week 2: Monday to Friday: 14:00 - 22:00
• Week 3: Sunday to Thursday: 22:00 - 06:00

Candidate Profile

(Please note - We will be in touch if you hold the relevant experience - If you do not we will not reach out )

• (MUST) Experience working in a manufacturing setting - The textile & Fabrics industry is a desired
• (MUST) Hold technical experience - This is NOT a picker & packer role - This requires precise measurements and a key eye to detail.
• Some PC skills with a basic knowledge of Word and Excel
• Previous experience, or an understanding of, continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience within a production environment and/or machine operator role would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Produce products to the agreed specification by following processes
• Quality checking to ensure a quality product is knitted and delivered to the customer
• Maintain Stoll machines to in accordance with standard working practices to ensure smooth running operation and efficiency of the machine
• Ensure a smooth shift handover by attending daily meetings
• Change over machines to ensure smooth running of the manufacturing process
