Job Title: Testing Co-ordinator

Location: Hillsborough, Sheffield

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:15 to 16:30 with a 45 minute break

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

More about IFA:

We manufacture high-integrity, open-die and closed-die forged components in nickel alloy, titanium, stainless steel and carbon alloys for customers and tier-one suppliers within the aerospace, power generation, marine as well as oil and gas sector. We are unique due to the combination of open and closed-die forging while also undertaking the whole production process from raw material to the finished product in one location.

The role:

  • You will be reporting to the Test House Manager and responsible for material control throughout the testing process
  • Co-ordinating the flow of all IFA testing work and working to a variety of testing specifications.
  • You will produce testing instructions and purchase orders and review all Test Reports against these, highlighting non-conforming test results.

What are we looking for?

  • An Understanding of mechanical/metallurgical testing is desirable
  • Confident on computer systems such as Microsoft packages
  • An understanding of ISO/IEC17025 would be beneficial
  • Experience in creating and reviewing of certificates of conformity would be beneficial
  • Attention to detail
