Test Operative

Test Operative required for established manufacturer. Training will be given to candidates with some electronic experience - practical or theoretical.

Location: Near Dartford

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am to 5pm, 1pm on a Friday.

Salary: £11.44 ph x 39 hours pw + OT at time and a half when req’d

£23,0200.32 pa, paid weekly.

Benefits include 25 days leave + BH, pension, uniform.

Suitable candidates will have some electronics knowledge or a desire to learn:

Test Operative duties:

• To test assemblies in accordance with written test procedures and achieve production delivery targets.
• To be able to diagnose any faults on assemblies down to a component level.
• To be aware of company health and safety requirements.
• To understand and implement necessary anti-static precautions.
• To follow instructions as indicated on BOM and route cards
• To understand IPC standards with regard to own area.
• To actively participate in the Company’s Continuous Improvement Programme.

Test Operative skills: training will be given

• Reading and interpreting drawings
• Fault find to component level
• Able to use test equipment - digital multimeter, oscilloscope, power tools
