Our client, a large main contractor are currently recruiting for a Tender Planner to work predominately on Civil engineering projects within Rail. The portfolio of projects also includes Airports, Water & Highways schemes. The client is open to someone from either a Planning background or someone from a site background (Site Agent, Sub Agent, Section Engineering, Project Management) in a Utopian world you will have both.
Remuneration:
£50,000-£75,000 per annum plus car / car allowance & benefits
Location:
Barnsley / Working from home
The role:
- Client liaison
- Bid management and tender preparation
- Tender and construction programme development and management
- Risk Management
- Project and Tender Planning
- Delivery team mentor and support
Requirements:
- Tender experience
- Either a Planning or Site background (Site Agent, Sub Agent, Section Engineering, Project Management)
- Good humanship
- Utilities, civil engineering or rail experience
