A highly reputable charity based in Northamptonshire are currently recruiting for a TenancySupport Worker to join their team on a Permanent basis. This role will focus on supporting vulnerable homelesspersons,whilst they stay within temporary accommodation.

Length of contract: 12 Month Fixed Term

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Location: Northamptonshire

Salary: £24,536.40 per annum

Role responsibilities:

  • Deliver emotional and life skills-based support, assisting service users with day-to-day tasks
  • Complete support plans and risk assessments with the service users
  • Enforce tenancy conditions in line with procedures including low-level anti-social behaviour and rent arrears
  • Offer specialist knowledge and insight into rent arrears helping tenants with budgeting
  • Carry out regular estate inspections
  • Offer advice and assistance to tenants regarding their benefit entitlements
  • Provide support and advice to tenants in relation to issues concerning their tenancies
  • Manage void properties to ensure the quickest re-let times including carrying out viewings and sign-ups

 Essential requirements:

  • An Enhanced DBS with the Adults lists checked from within the last 3 years or willingness to apply
  • Knowledge of working with vulnerable clients with mental health and substance misuse issues
  • A full UK Driving Licence and access to a car
