Salary: £23,000- £25,000 DOE

Days & Times: Monday- Friday 8.45- 5.30 / 1 in 3 Saturdays 9:00- 16:00

Job Summary:

Contribute to the successful letting and management of instructed properties by always providing excellent customer service and negotiation skills. Pursue all new instruction opportunities and pass to valuer. Maintain database and ensure accuracy of data. Book viewings and help pull together everything prior to move in. Manage house visits and carry them out reporting to the landlord and following up accordingly, safety certificates and repairs etc and check outs. Carry out inventories and check outs. Ensure adherence to all due diligence and regulatory policies and procedures. Meet all goals and objectives agreed with line manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with office reception / provide office cover
  • Deal with booking of all types of appointments, i.e. viewings and valuations
  • Register tenants
  • Provide property information
  • Attend viewings when required
  • Follow up all viewings, record detailed noted on Jupix and provide feedback to landlord clients when required and on Saturdays
  • Carry out all inventories, check outs, house visits to a good standard and within guidelines
  • Deal with repairs
  • Inform line manager of progress and any issues in a timely manner
  • Organise key security
  • Ensure all legal regulation on file e.g. gas certificate, EPC, PAT and instruct if necessary
  • Update file notes and history on Jupix
  • Organise safety certificates - ordering if necessary but managing the dashboard and keeping up to date
  • Organise and carry out house visits and report accordingly to the Landlord and follow up repairs/quotes.
  • Organise and carry out check outs, negotiate disputes and deposit refund including accounting for dilapidations etc.
  • Attend relevant training sessions to maintain current knowledge of government legislation
  • Cross sell and promote other services.
  • Always keep desk and reception area tidy
  • Maintain a high standard of dress code - smart, office wear with formal shoes.
  • To undertake additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service in a sales driven environment
  • Ability to self motivate and contribute to a team
  • IT literate
  • Preferably familiar with current software - Jupix
  • Has background in Lettings and preferably knowledge of current legislation and property law.
  • Able to work under pressure and multi-task
