Temporary full time Purchase Ledger Clerk
Our client is looking for a temporary full time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team in rural Thirsk for roughly 4 months.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing of purchase ledger invoices, matching to Purchase orders and Good received notes
- Working with colleagues to ensure efficient processing and authorisation of invoices
- Processing payment runs
- Reconciling unallocated payments
- Reconciliation of purchase ledger statements
- Reconciling Aged Creditors control monthly
- Being the first point of contact for suppliers
- Reconciling and processing of monthly credit card statements
- Following up all queries and ensuring they are resolved quickly and efficiently
- Undertake any routine, day to day tasks that are required by the Finance function
Desirable qualities:
- Computer literate, especially Microsoft Office / Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a team player
- Previous experience of using Opera would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided
Job information/ details:
- 09:00-17:00 or 08:30-16:30
- Full or Part-time considered
- Up to £24,500 (depending on experience)
- On-site Parking
