Job Title: Temporary Inspector

Location: Basildon

Hourly Rate: £17.14 per hour

Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Friday: 7:30 am - 12:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Inspect components for quality and ensure they meet standards.
• Identify and address recurring quality issues.
• Assist in process improvement efforts.
• Provide support for existing and new business opportunities.
• Maintain quality control in line with business and customer requirements.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on improvement projects.
• Complete First Offs and Batch Work.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Utilize technical knowledge within the aerospace sector.
• Operate inspection equipment accurately.
• Work to ISO 9001 standards.
• Demonstrate attention to detail.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Apply practical problem-solving skills.
• Support the SQCDP framework of the wider Gardner business, particularly in safety and quality.

Requirements:
