Our client a housebuilder work as a team to help to build homes and change lives. They are also an ambitious: a sector-leader in carbon reduction, with commercial ventures and a focus on the future.

They are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to join their Voids team.

The overall purpose of this role is to deliver a quality cleaning service to (unoccupied) properties. Key responsibilities include:

  • Sweeping/hoovering/mopping floors and dusting/washing ledges, window seals, etc.
  • Cleaning carpets
  • Cleaning kitchens (including ovens), bathrooms, toilets, handbasins/sinks and walls.
  • Transporting waste to allocated bin areas.
  • Operating equipment (including works vehicle and a hand held IT device for recording work done).

Duties

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following

  • A full, clean driving license.
  • The ability to lift and carry equipment/materials and to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Proven team-working skills, plus the ability to work on your own initiative and possibly carry out minor repair tasks.
  • Good verbal communication with residents, team members and others

DBS clearance will be required for this role.
